New problems discovered: Midday update

The doctors are a little concerned about his consistent high fever (not even reducing by Tylenol), low potassium and pneumonia (yes, this was discovered today). But they are also encouraged by his belly (not reducing but not growing either).

He is under very tight monitoring (every 1/2 hour to 1 hour) and we will be going for a full body CT scan so that the doctors can figure out some more of what's happening.

The good part is that he is more aware of his surroundings and is asking for new foods. This new list includes soup, cornflakes and juice.

Another pleasant surprise was that my mausiji (from LA) came over to visit us for a day. She is like my mom and it felt great. We are planning to bring over mummy and Meera in the afternoon and have a family get together here in the hospital itself.

Dear Nikhil, I'm so glad that you felt good with mossiji's vsit. Her presence always is very comforting for all of us. I had given her the onus of conveying our prayers too and loads of love and affection. I feel so inadequate not being of any help to you. Under the circumstances your blog is the only connect.
Love you all Betu.
